The Influence of the EU „Green Deal“ on the woodworking industry

The EU's climate targets were set out in the Green Deal, presented in 2019. The wood industry sector is particularly important in this regard, as it can make a major contribution to climate neutrality. Paul Brannen is a former member of the EU Parliament and now works for CEIBois. He will present why timber construction and renovation with wood are a crucial factor on the way to achieving the climate targets. With this, he also considers the opportunities and challenges involved.
